Maya practice 1

I had a go at the first tutorial today (rest coming soon) and I followed some internet instructions to make a subdivision sphere yet it did not look anything like in the videos. But I did make it a Subdiv object but yeah....

This is what I did, but the third sphere is meant to be the sub division sphere. I don't know why I made them shrink but it looks sort of like I am building a snowman.
