I've been playing around with the lines for the tree and can just about get it to look like my drawings with the first one, but I also did the original toon line experiment just to see what it would look like. I don't know what method would be better for it. Personally I prefer the neat one, but that's only because it fits with the other assets. Either one and I need to work out whether I can do the star/decorations in post- in after effects or incorporate them into it there with the same method?

Update: Low-Res Tree Model.
I started modelling the tree asset in Maya as the story boarding process has got me up against a wall!
Its just a simple low polly res mesh that I'll be applying my toon lines to it.

@Phil - Storyboard Idea
This is the storyboard that I sent over before, I went back to it and added the line/string effect, the line/string sort of reveals the world like we discussed before, and objects that are assets will be revealed as full 3D objects. I think making the line/string red would not only fit with the branding but also make it visible in the white space. We can discuss more in the tutorial tomorrow?
Personal Work: 13/11/2016 - Supernatural Fan Art + Life Drawing Study
After Thursdays very successful presentation, I thought I would award myself with a change to catch up on Supernatural over this weekend while I work on some Dissertation and some story boarding. Took a break and I drew this. I'm rather impressed with it if I'm honest, as this is probably the first human figure I've drawn in a while as my project doesn't feature characters. My tablet died before I could really do much with it, I could have added a few tattoos in relation with the show but I think it's okay as it is. :D

Update: Trifle Turnaround @Phil - Is this what you meant?
For some reason it looks like the interior of the trifle might cut the mouth....god knows why, the meshes were smoothed when I rendered.

Update: Iron Asset
Rending these toon lines is becoming confusing the more I try. But this is the closest I got to a render image unfortunately the back plane was black even though its actually white. I might put a light in there to see if that works. If not I think I saw some tutorials on toon shaders? I think that might be helpful.

Update: Rotoscoping the Living Room.
So far so good, I have just over a second (Extended to fit real time only about 18 frames) of footage of the living room asset in rotoscope. I will be finishing this by the weekend hopefully. It's a tedious process but the outcome will look really cool :D
